The short version

LoafMath is a static website with no accounts and no server-side processing. Every calculation happens locally in your browser. The ingredient amounts and settings you type are never sent to us or anyone else — they stay on your device.

What we store on your device

If you use the “Save” button on a calculator, or switch the light/dark theme, we keep that in your browser’s local storage so it is there next time. This never leaves your browser, we cannot read it, and you can clear it any time through your browser settings.

Analytics

LoafMath uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate, anonymous usage — which pages people visit, roughly where they arrive from, whether a calculator was used, and how the site performs — so we know what to improve. A calculator-use event contains only the calculator’s fixed name; it never contains the values or result. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) and processes this data on Google’s servers. It is never told the ingredient amounts, recipes or settings you type — those stay entirely in your browser. You can opt out with Google’sopt-out browser add-onor your browser’s tracking-prevention settings.

Advertising

LoafMath currently shows no ads. If we add advertising (such as Google AdSense) in future, those services may set their own cookies; we will update this page, and — where required, for example for visitors in the EEA and UK — ask for your consent through a banner before those cookies are set.

Your recipes stay on your device

The calculators are entirely client-side: there is no database of your recipes, no email list you are added to without asking, and nothing for us to sell.
